Hello,
I tried to purchase a replacement FC for my mobula 7hd however I purchased incorrect FC. what I wound up with is a happy model crazybee f3 DSMx fc. So I decided to just use it to build a new mini. I had an OrangeRX DSM2/DSMX module which i have never used before. I installed that into my taranis x9D plus. I disabled the internal rf and enabled external using the DSM2 and DSMX settings. I set the ORX module to mode one where i get 1 blink on module. turned off transmitter. plugged battery into FC let it run through its music then held bind button on ORX module and turned on radio, continued to hold bind button after it comes on for a few more seconds and it beeps several more times then I release bind button. No change on FC afterwards though, still have blinking red light. There is no bind button on the Flight controller so I am not sure how to know if the on board receiver is in bind mode or not, I cannot find the manual for this specific board. I am only familiar with FRsky setups. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
