So "Angle flight mode" is provided by the cc3d, right? Do I use the open pilot to select this mode?

Its true, im in over my head. I used to fly rc helicopters, so I thought this was going to be easy. But, I would say they are not even comparable. Also, its hard to perceive the yaw angle of quad sometimes, as it is a square. That was never a question with a helicopter.
