So I tried to fly the drone, and all went well until I tried to make the rotors go. No luck. It's connected to the transmitter, because when I turn it off, the naza books red like crazy. Turn on the TX and it goes back to normal. Any suggestions?

After some back and forth with helipal, it seems you need to have the camera hooked up first, or the gimbal does nothing, and it can damage the motors.
So now my issue seems to be one of connecting a non GoPro camera to this. I'm going to try connecting a micro USB to the wire and see what...
Here's the response from helipal:
GoPro camera must installed before supplying power to the Gimbal. Failure to do so will result in damage to the Gimbal motors.

Yes, there are LEDs lit up. I'll try to get pics of all the connections. Maybe a half hour or so.
Edit: the camera is a hero 4 knock off. But it has the exact same weight and dimensions.
