    Syma X8C binding simplification

Hello everyone! My Syma X8C Venture seems to be acting strange. The flashing lights when on headless mode flash fast after a few mins of flight. Is this an indication of a depleted battery? I tested the lipos, they were at about 65%. It was cold outside, about 35 deg. My preparatory...

Syma 8 series prop guard mod

I found that on less than perfect landings the props will hit the guards. I have a fix for this. The natural up bending at the mounting point is nice to look at but dysfunctional to a degree. I straightened mine by the following method" Things needed: 1. toaster oven or similar metal rack...

Thanks for the reply, my error, I meant a 2S. I had 1S on the mind as I am awaiting arrival of a Flyzone Inum indoor micro light plane that in fact uses a 1s battery. I'm researching with little success what kind of charging plug-wire to get for the Flyzone and clones 1S batteries.

Hello fellow pilots, Bill here, new to the club, new to Quads, 25 yrs flying fixed wing r/c. I bought a Syma 8XC ready to fly, great deal. I like it, A different sport than airplanes. I get about 7 minutes of varied throttle flying from a 2000 mah 1S. I fly mostly headless mode, and...
