Since the copter can bind to the controller and the FPV camera still works, I assumed that the antenna/communications is fine. Am I missing something?

I've got a Hubsan x502s. I crashed is a couple weeks ago and killed one of the motors. Other than one prop not spinning, the copter was fine. I replaced the motor and now it never gets past "calibrate compass 1" no matter when I try. I've rechecked my soldering job, made sure the connectors...
