Hello all,
I have completed my first build. It has been a big learning experience and this forum has helped a lot. Thanks to HoltNeil for the assistance on steps of the build that I was unsure of.

Components of Quadcopter...
Got it.
Everything seemed to be configured except one thing. My quad loves to drift straight back. I have done an ACC and ESC calibration. All of my subtrims are at zero. I can't seem to figure out what is causing this.
Edit: Nevermind, I learned how to adjust my trim with the transmitter...
I am trying to set up auto level on my transmitter. Are these the correct following steps? Transmitter < Settings < Aux-CH < CH 5 < Choose which knob I want to set it too?
Then when I want to use Auto Level on a flight, arm the quadcopter, switch the Auto Level switch on my transmitter, then...
Gotcha. I am in the learning process of flying the quad and one thing I learned is to buy A LOT of propellers. Lol.
Now that I am out of propellers, should I continue to purchase APC propellers or spend more for carbon? I was thinking carbon would have a less chance of breaking for beginners...
- I went to "Receiver Test" on my KK2.15 board and the numbers were all crazy. I then went to my "Sub Trim" on my RX and adjusted the numbers until the numbers on the KK2.15 were zero except the AUX.

- I will look into speeding up the motors in PI...

Upon lifting my quad into the air, my quad drifts to the right automatically. What can I do to solve this issue?
I pretty much have everything configured and put together. My last step is to balance and propellers and I should be ready to fly the quad.
Any good DIY methods I should look at to make a homemade prop balancer? Or should I just go buy one from my local hobby shop (it's probably really...
Hello,
First lets check out my transmitter and its setting that it offers. I don't see "aero" anywhere in the modes. Here is what options it offers on my FlySky TH9X:
Mode Select
- All I see is "FlySky01"
Type Select
- Heli
- Acro
- Glid
As far as all of the other information you provided...
Okay, so I have gotten a replacement KK2.15 board in and it looks as if it's properly working. Now that I am onto my next stage of configuring the quadcopter, I need some guidance on setting up the KK2.15 board.
I have found this video for an initial set up...
Gotcha! Thank you! Hopefully I will get it to work tomorrow when stores reopen after Christmas :)
Yep, all I need is servo leads to connect from the receiver to KK board.
