Hi dave I had the same problem so When I turn my quadcopter on I give it a few seconds, then the lights slow down then i turn on the controller and up down left stick work's every time hope that helps

I'm sure i would mess up so i think i will keep it stock, cheers for the info anyway have a good one mate all the best

Is it easy to do the range hack and can it mess the quad up, as i would hate to mess it up i think I will get another one it's so cool to fly it in the back field

2 week's to come from hongkong but worth it I think i will get another one as a spare well happy know

Hi did you take the propellers off if so you have to make sure you put them on in the right place mine did the same thing when i put them back on the wrong way

Yea I'm thinking of buying a new x5c -1 you have made me think about trying it in stronger winds cheers mate I'm on my way out to have a go
