Sounds like you might have the blades on wrong. Check and make sure the leading edge (thick edge) is Turing into the air. For instance on a clockwise motor with the blade a 12 o'clock the leading edge should be on the right. It would be just the opposite on a counter clockwise motor.

I would try a different adapter, the one that came with mine wouldn't let me do anything with the files not even view them. I use an adapter that came with one of my Sandisk cards. Next I would try a different USB port if possible.

I have 3 batteries for my x5c-1 and a charger that will 5 batteries at a time. Even with more batteries remember you will want to wait for the motors to cool some before flying again. Will add life to your motors. Yes it does take practice to fly these little beast, just keep practicing Dan it...

Does the same motor that doesn't start seem harder to turn than the others? May have a damaged motor.
