My beautiful JasGad M6 Hexacopter went down today from over 100 feet!

My goal is something like the turbo ace matrix with fpv, gimbal and gopro. The matrix has a pretty high cool factor and I would love to get the kit. Just getting into FPV now so I have a little ways to go before I step up to a bigger quad.

My beautiful JasGad M6 Hexacopter went down today from over 100 feet!

Thanks for the vids. Nice hexa copter. besides a bigger payload capacity what are some advantages of a hexa over a quad? Seems like it would be more stable. Aren't there some trade offs as well? decreased flight time due to faster battery drain? can a quad do everything a hexa can? Can a hexa do...

DJI Naza Mv2 software for Mac -

Did you bind the receiver to the radio? With my spektrum there is a procedure to bind the radio and receiver so the receiver only takes commands from your radio. I assume futabas are similar but have never used one.

    Back in the air

Finally got enough time off work to repair my DJI 450 and get it back up and flying. I figured out the problem with the GPS not calibrating and am getting my gains back where they should be. I have a issue with "Toilet Bowl Effect" but I think I know how to correct it. Looking to sell my DJI...

Why did you get into the hobby?

Checked out your web page Charles. Looks like were in the same trade. I operated a 60Mw CFB for 23 years but my initial experience is in gas turbines. I currently operate a 88.5 mmscfd steam methane reformer supplying Shell oil co with hydrogen.

Why did you get into the hobby?

Love the idea of being able to produce my own short videos and for basic surveillance if I ever needed too. My ultimate goal is to make nature videos with music sound tracks of my travels. Plus I like to fiddle with electronics and mechanical devices. I like things that are technical but not too...

    Hubsan Q4 RTF Nano Quadcopter

I bought one, different brand name but the same quad. I really like it, Price was right and it flys really well. Defintnitely one of my favorites because you can fly it indoors.

    Why did my quadcopter crash?

I built a DJI 450 with the Naza lite and GPS. I have a Spektrum DX8 transmitter. This is my first build and getting everything right between the radio and the Naza was a challenge but in the end everything seemed to work perfect. Toggling between course lock and home lock as well as GPS, ATTI...

    Upgraded Forum Software

Excellent! I was going to suggest a thread for resources. I have a few that I like but know that there are more out there. I have a few things I would like to throw out there and get everyones opinion on but I don't want to bury it in one of the sub fourms where no one will see it. Seems to me...

    QuadCopter Programming

Most builds can easily handle a go pro camera providing its not a really small quad. They make a frame called a flame wheel 450 and there are plenty of cheap (450) clones as well that would be suitable for what you want. You would have to select the proper size motors, props and ESC's but so...

Who, Where and What?.....a bit about yourself.

Hi. Somewhat new to quadcopters. I live in Californias Central Valley. I have a phantom and just built a DJI 450. Had some early success with the 450 and then a spectacular crash. My goal is to keep learning and eventually graduate into FPV. Looking forward to learning more and getting better at...
