I believe the main reason for using 5.8 for FPV is because you are using 2.4 for your transmitter and using 2.4 for FPV is just asking for interference isuues.

Yes, it went straight to a warrning saying my device has 4 viruis and my battery was damaged and to leave this page at my own risk so I just deleted the tab from my browser and then ran 2 virus scans and all was well. Didn't mean anything personal just trying to warn others cause you never know.

One thing you need to consider about FPV is the camera transmitter also 2.4 ghz? If so not good, same frequency as transmitter is asking for interference issues, FPV ideally should be 5.8 ghz or some other frequency, browse You Tube for issues concering this.
