Appreciate the info and I'm sure it's better. To keep things within budget I'll probably go with just the Turnigy 9X.

Someone commented about the 9X transmitting range. Is it plenty strong for a large field ? I don't plan on flying out of sight ,,,, ha ha

Does the 9X need a module for protocol ? I guess I don't even know what that does. The receiver size shouldn't matter as I want to use it on a 600 mm quad.

Hi Heath , Why does one need nine channels ? Wouldn't six be enough ? Or is it because the nine is only $10 more than the six. ?

I must have at least 3-4 sets of 3 blades props for a Syma X5. I'd give somebody a heck of a deal here in the USA. I'm not going to lie to ya , the two blades seem to perform better and vibrate less. LMK
