    Great info guys them cf arms look impressive but at a cost, defiantly upload a pic when it's all built Just in the process of buying a new house so soon as I'm in ill order the bits, I could be moving anytime so don't wanna order from China to find it go to my old house

    I bet it could be done with an arduino somehow......yea I know I'd need a spare, I'll get at least one of each to start with need to order it all so I can start the build, gotta check what radio gear I have in the garage for my marder, it maybe a plane one to get me started till I buy a bad boy

    I'm not made of cash but for the few quid they cost I'll buy both batterys and then I'll have a spare to swap out Towards the top end the 4s uses more bat power but is almost double the thrust... Is there a way for me to just stick a battery on each leg and once one discharges it swaps...

    3 or 4 sets of decent props for £4... bloody hell i thought those cf ones were cheap Balancing them looks straight forward enough too, thanks for the link . What size props should i be looking for? the motors i found now are 2216 900kv sunny skys. Cheers guys

    Yea as hd said i can get 2 full set of spare plastics for the price of 1 of those you shown... ill prob get alloy or cf arms when ive had a play and learnt to fly it ☺ Are the cf props better? Theres some on hobbykings for only £4 a pair.. if they balance up thats cheap.

    Ah yea i agree tall rider. It may work well but its not what im looking for. After all i could make one from scratch if i knew a bit more. Im a ex-cnc machinist with access to a workshop so a smart gimbal maybe on the cards in the future i have been looking at lots of things all a touch...

    Yea ive been looking for a while at different things, ive seen the Chinese copys of dji motors get decent eviews but still not cheap for 4 o_O haha but i dont mind spending a few hundred getting it airbourne then a bit more once ive mastered flight. I did look at the 700mm frame on hobbyking...

    Looks very steady and great footage too, what lush landscape. which go pro is it the 4k one? You seem to get some good hieght too so i bet the distance is pretty good. What do you get with that setup distance wise?
