    TVM - I was hoping to find something a little less expensive. Even the cheapest DGI Phantom is quite expensive by the time a camera is added.

    Thanks guys, I'll have a good look at your suggestions. However, I wasn't planning on building but was looking for a basic device which incorporates the features I mentioned. Any suggestions on that front - please remember I'm a complete tyro as far as quads are concerned.

    I have some years experience of flying RC helis up to 450 size CP. I'd like to get into the world of FPV quad flying with safety features (like auto-homing etc), stability control and a camera capable of recording good video. The ability to achieve stability in light winds is important too...
