Hi everyone !

My name is Alexis, I'm 25yo and I'm from France !

Here is my first post on this forum after bough a Chersoon CX 10 (that I repaired many times), and 2 Hubsan X4 h107 C and L few month ago.

I've watched many video about quads on youtube and especially RC Model Reviews that explained how to build a cheap quad.

Brushed mini quad are a trend recently and It's cheap enough for my budget (~ 200USD) googles and transmiter included.

Here is what's in my banggood cart and I wanna have some confirmation before order it:

Eachine VR-007 VR007 5.8G 40CH HD FPV Goggles Video Glasses 4.3 Inch With 7.4V 1600mAh Battery (960761)
FlySky FS-i6 2.4G 6CH AFHDS RC Transmitter With FS-iA6 Receiver (922606)
Eachine QX95 QX90 Micro Racing Quadcopter Spare Parts 5.8g 25MW 32CH VTX 520TVL CMOS 1/4 Camera PAL/NTSC (1079391)
Tiny Frsky 8CH Receiver Compatible With FRSKY X9D Plus DJT DFT DHT For QX95 QX90 QX80 DIY Micro Quadcopter (1079963)
4X Chaoli CL 820 8.5x20mm Coreless Motor for 90mm-150mm DIY Micro FPV RC Quadcopter Frame (1069067) (x2)
Micro 32bits F3 Brushed Flight Control Board Based On SP RACING F3 EVO Brush For QX95 QX90 QX80 (1070068)
Diatone Beta110 H4 V2.0 110 110mm Carbon Fiber DIY Micro Mini FPV RC Quadcopter Frame Kit (1057219)

All this for 180$.
(I arleady have props and batteries for my Hubsans)

I just wanna know if the FlySky FS-i6 will bind with the receiver (do I really need the receiver ? Banggood suggested to me but I'm not sure...) and if this build seems fine.

Thanks a lot for your time !

Have a nice day.

Looks like a good setup, you'll be impressed with the Chaolis. Some 1S 35C 600 mah lipos will give you all the zip you need with almost 8 minutes runtime. Transmitter is PPM output so it should be fine with the receiver, can't really say if there'll be any binding issues. One thing to watch out for - when you're wiring up your camera, don't power it off the uart port from the F3 Evo as there's been issues with too much power draw causing brownouts. Connect it directly to the battery pads. As for the props, the 55mm Hubsan props are OK but I find they fly off pretty easy. Check out the Ladybird props. And welcome to the forum!

Thank you Renov !

Do you think I need the receiver ? As the FC support PPM, does it mean it can receive signal ? Or just that it means it can send information about batty voltage ?

Hi guys ! I finally got all part (I've ordered wrong receiver so had order a new one )

I soldered the receiver but nothing happen when I plug in the battery.

Here are some pictures and video:

There's nothing indicated on the receiver so I wonder if I placed in the write side.

I used a bit smaller wires for - and + and when I plugged in, I saw a little smoke coming out from + side. I changed wireses to bigger one and no more smoke but I wonder if I burned the board :( ....

I'm guessing reverse polarity to the receiver. One thing I've learned is to check, double and triple check when soldering onto boards, especially when you're also wiring on the bottom side. Don't know how many times I've looked at a pin layout, flipped the board over and connected everything backwards

Here is the one I ordered but seems like it's not the same as there is nothing indicated on my board but I was guessing it by the IXI sign ... I contacted Banggood 2 days ago, I guess they won't reply until tomorrow

So ! I received a new receiver from banggood (last one was wrong one ...) and I found out how to bind my T-Six to my quad ! Youhou !!!! ....

Until a new problem appear ...

Here is the problem:
Jump to 2:14 on the video.
When I plugged my F3 FC board to my computer nothing happened at first (like in the video) so I tried to change the cable, USB Port and flash again but nothing happened.
I jumped the "BOOT" on the board and installed Zadig then I managed to flash the board with a "SUCCESSFUL" so I removed the BOOT jumper and plugged my board again but It still say "failed to open serial port" even I'm using same USB cable and port. Also when I plug the battery, the motor keep spining. (it didn't before I flashed the board)

Do you think my board is damaged ? ... Do I need to order a new one and wait 2~3 more weeks ? :( ...

Thank you !

Actually, I solved my problem

here is the link:
http://www.dronetrest.com/t/spr-f3-e...al-port/3244/6
and how I fixed it: downloaded this program: http://api.256file.com/vcp_v1.3.1_se...ad-111255.html
Now I can "Connect" the board in Cleanflight.

But here come a new problem:
I finally figure out how to bind my T-Six to the Tiny DSM2 receiver (I get a steady blue light). But I get no respond when I up the throlles. Any idea ?
