So I've been getting pretty daring in acro mode. But I can't get the flip or roll.. What's going on? I've got a spektrum dxe tx and I can switch it into acro I mean, it will flip over, but not fast. At all. Like id have to be 100 feet in the air to get a full flip/roll. I watch YouTube videos and these guys are doing it 3 feet off the ground. What's going on here?
 
RC rate, expo. Super rate. Needs adjustment. I fly with around 900 degrees a second. Gives me a quick flip. Just budge it up a bit every time you go out. till you feel OK with it. Also if you got a convex Throttle curve or high mid point can effect this aswell. Don't mess with pids till you got this down. Get your flip & roll speeds to how you want them then mess with pids. Project blue falcon on YouTube done a video recently explaining this in detail. Deffo worth taking a look. It's easy to understand.
