FPV information

Hello, I have been flying my DJI Phantom 1 for about a year now. I bought it used and it came with a lot of upgrades. The person I bought it from said the fpv works and it came with Fatshark goggles and a 7in monitor on the controller but it seems the transmitter and/or receiver has gone dead as I cannot get any video fee on either. I was looking at replacing the transmitter/receiver but was trying to get some input on what would be a good set up. Also would like to add an ISOD but not sure if the Phantom 1 can. Thank you for your input.

I was hoping to keep it under $200. I am new to FPV and confused on how a new transmitter for my quadcopter would be used for FPV as you suggested.

I have been searching online to try to help my decision on what to get but there are so many different options, I just want to make sure it will be compatible with my Phantom.

Here is what I have now. Should I just get the video transmitter and see if it works with my receiver?

Did you ever try to fire them up without the antennas?
That can cause a problem where it over heats.
Try different channels, just put one on channel 1, then cycle the second device through all channels, and then move device one to channel 2 and repeat. It could be the wrong band.

I have not turned them on without the antennas. The TX has plastic shirnk wrap on it so cannot change the channel unless that is cut off so I assume it is on the same channel from when the PO used it. I have tried all of the channels on the fatshark goggles and also on the RX mounted to the controller.

What's the brand/model number?

I s there any indication of what channel you are on? I see the little grid on the side.
