We’re looking for a counter-drone solution for an airport environment, but we can’t risk interfering with existing systems.
What are people actually using in these situations?
 
In sensitive environments, interference creates more problems than it solves. The more practical approach today is working at the protocol level rather than jamming. Sentrycs is one good example that allows controlled handling of drones without disrupting surrounding systems.
 
Distance measurement can be achieved using a high-frequency Laser rangefinder module, which can be combined with a camera to position the unmanned aerial vehicle.
