Cleanflight drivers

Hey guys, i am trying to set my quad up with cleanflight but when I hit the connect button in cleanflight it fails to connect to the serial port. I have downloaded all of the drivers but it still doesn't work. I might have done something wrong but I'm not sure. Any help? Thnx.

Make sure you have chosen the right port on your computer. Look to see where the driver is, in this case it's COM3.

Also make sure you have a board that will run cleanflight. If it is a cc3d board it will not have the proper bootloader and you will get an fail when trying to connect. Same with a naza doard (dji). If so, serious pain to try loading cleanflight bootloader and hit or miss if it works afterwards. Easier to buy another board. As well, cleanflight will not connect to proprietary flight controllers like Hubsan or syma for the same reason.
