Help!!! Controller input no longer registering in BetaFlight!

It's really not that difficult. When you buy ARF (almost ready to fly) quad you have to install a receiver, bind it to your transmitter, then set up your ports, modes aux switches and whatnot in betaflight. I felt lost at first too but luckily there are people out there like Joshua Bardell who make videos.
Quick Question for you... now that i've got the Controller inputting visibly on BetaFlight any idea why my copter wont respond to my controller still.

i.e when i unplug everything from beta flight and put the Quad on the floor my controller will not spin the props

The steps I mentioned on esc's or your arm switch. Do these move on the modes tab. You can see the range of the switch moving, or you should.

I'm fairly new at this too and going off memory:

Make sure your flysky is setup for channel 5 as switch A and channel 6 as switch C.

Connect to betaflight, go to modes tab. Set up "arm" as "aux 1". Set up your other flight modes as "aux 2".
Remember to always hit save after every change.

Go to receiver tab and make sure the tx is moving the colored lines which represent throttle, roll, etc.

Go to motors tab and make sure your escs are powering up your motors.

@mozquito1 if I missed anything or got anything wrong let us know.

If that's all done then it may be the esc settings. The motors tab will move the motors but not necessarily let you fly if the throttle range is wrong in blheli or you don't have the right protocol selected on the configuration tab, top right corner.
What esc's have you got.?
