Holy stone red HS200W flys at me

I am new to this hobby. I got this new red one and when I sat it in front of me about 8 feet away nose pointed away from me, took off and later pushed the return home button and it came back towards me and didn't stop to land. It just keep flying at me I had to duck out of its way. I tryed twice, same thing. What am I doing wrong. Thanks for your help.
 
Unless it is a dire emergency, don't push that button. You were sitting about 8 feet from it at launch, right? I think that it returns to the controller's position. If you're holding the controller, then it came back to you.
 
You should be able to set your RTH altitude so you don't hit any obstacles or people including you:confused:
