Hubsan H107C Controller

I've just received a H107C and trying to get started. It seems it came in Mode 2, with the throttle on the left stick. I noticed that stick does not center in the up/down direction. It does center right/left and the right stick centers in both directions. Is this correct or do I have a faulty controller?
 
Hi this is mode 2 this mode 99% of fliers use , What was you flying before , I think my self mode 2 is easy as throttle rudder on the one stick and cyclic on the other
