My world is spinning!

I got a V tail 500 hunter that I been trying to get off the ground since my return from Afghanistan 3 months ago. It has Makerfire 20a esc, kk2 FC, and I am using Turnigy receiver and 9x radio. This thing spins uncontrollably at take off. My tech has checked props, motor and motor connection to FC and he checked esc connections yet it spins. He thinks its the radio or the kk2 board.

He could be right. If everything is mechanically sound, it's probably something in the flight controller or your setup. I don't have any experience with the KK2 but with the Tarot FC I use, if the gains are set to low. it will cause yaw drift. But not uncontrollable spinning. If you're sure that all calibrations have been done correctly including stick calibration of your transmitter (often overlooked but very important) then you could try another KK2. Sorry, that's all I got

What FW are you using? Are all 4 props the same size?

These things confuse me. Are they A-Tails or V-Tails? Does it matter to the FCB? Yours appears to a V-Tail, the KK2 has a V-Tail setting.

But here we see David sitting up what many would call an A-Tail with the KK2.

He thinks its the radio or the kk2 board.

If he is saying to replace them, I don't think so. There's lots of troubleshooting that needs to be done first.
