RTH question

I am waiting to receive my Bugs2 and I have a question about the RTH. If I take off without GPS on will the LTH still work? Also, can I turn on and off the GPS after taking off? These may seem like dumb questions but that's what being|a newbie is all about I guess!
 
You'll have to power on your quad and wait for the series of flashes from the LEDs indicating that your home location has been recorded. After that, you can change flight modes as much as you want. Just remember though, if you get into trouble and want to activate RTH, you'll have to put it back into GPS mode first
