Trouble binding fs-th9x with d4r-2

Im sure this is a common problem and listed somewhere but I can't find anything. Sorry in advance if redundant. I have spent 2 days searching the internet and its time for some real help! I bought the flysky fs-th9x on ebay used but in mint condition. Im hoping nothing wrong with it. Both radio and receiver are fr sky so I don't know why its such an issue?

The Problem: the radio I believe is suppose to start beeping when in binding mode. I got it to do it once but never again. Ive watched all the vids and read all the posts and nothing about this? I hold the button on the back while turning on and it just turns on is all. It is bound with the receiver that came with it but I want to use the smaller flysky.

Im really hoping someone can help. Im new to this and have a couple bobbie versions of quads and I'm hooked! Build is almost done on my 250. Ordered ESC's from Hobbie King so the hong Kong delivery for the ESC's is over a month!

They're not both fr sky. The radio is flysky and the receiver is fr sky those are completely different brands. You're going to need to either buy a flysky receiver (which you can find on amazon or banggood) or buy a fr sky module. The latter will cost a bit more. Hope this helps!

It won't let me post a picture and I can't figure out how to do a link but here is the breakdown of what I have:
Radio is a th9x fly sky
Recur er is a fr-sky d4r-2
And module is a fr-sky djt telemetry

Thanks axel

It looks like your module has a 4 pin connector is that correct? Because the flysky transmitter has a standard 5 or 6 (i cant remember which) pin Jr style module bay. And the pins are all in a line where on your module it looks like they're in a 2x2 square.

Oh okay sorry it looked like a 4 pin from the other pic lol....so is the module going in all way and you hear a click? Is it definitely seated correctly into the module bay?

I have a back light installed and that comes on but the screen is blank. Online searches direct me to think it may be like a battery reverse problem even though I didn't reverse the polarity
